News and Events: traveling

Summer is here and everyone seems to be traveling somewhere. Before we begin a trip, whether we are driving a couple of blocks block or going hundreds of miles,  we say a travel prayer.  I remember as a child, my parents used to say a quick prayer before going on a trip.  It's a wonderful way to remember that we are in God's hands.  And it  helps us to keep God in our thoughts.
Sister Therese Marie, Sister Patricia Jean and Sister Mary Catherine are consulting the map.

This is the community travel prayer:

"Our Lady of the highways, be with us on our journey for all your ways are beautiful and all your paths are peace. May the most just, the most high, the most amiable will of God, be in all things fulfilled, praised and exalted above all things forever. St. Joseph the Worker, pray for us. St. Christopher, pray for us. "

Safe travels everyone.
