"Heart of Jesus, Son of the Eternal Father,
have mercy on us."
Who is this "Eternal Father" who created the visible and invisible worlds?
Who is this "Eternal Father" who making man, male and female,
in His image and likeness allowed us to cultivate and care for His created world?
Who is this "Eternal Father" who moving about
"in the garden at the breezy time of day"
allowed man "to see His Face?"
Who is this "Eternal Father" who didn't give up on us
but revealed Himself bit by bit
throughout salvation history
through Covenants;
one holy couple,
Adam and Eve,
one holy family,
Noah, his wife and children,
one holy nation,
Abraham, the Father of many nations;
one holy tribe,
Moses the Savior of the Israelites,
one holy kingdom,
King David.
Who is this "Eternal Father" who reveals His very Self in the
Person of His Son whom we know His name to be
Jesus?
The "Eternal Father" is a loving and merciful Father
inviting us to be so united
to Him in a personal relationship
that we are introduced into His Family,
the Blessed Trinity.
The Eternal Father
is calling us to become divinely human, to
share His divine life,
to be His adopted children,
above the angels themselves,
by living in Christ and He in us
thereby becoming heirs of His blessed life.
The Eternal Father
wants us to join
His Family of Love.
